Brooke Myung For the last 5 years I have been a doula and offer a variety of pregnancy and birth related services. I believe strongly that every family has the right to make informed decisions, that every mother deserves a birth team that respects her wishes, and that the newborn state is a profoundly important one, in which bother the mother and baby should be respected and protected. |
I am proud to have been a board member since the founding of this group. There have been many changes and many happy days, and I am proud to have been part of many of them. We strongly feel that families deserve the information they need to make the best decisions for their family, support for those choices from their birth team and Mother/Baby friendly care. As president, one of my goals is to increase our educational offerings to the public. Another is increasing our membership of active, willing volunteers to teach in the community. We are working on new ways of getting BACC, and our mission, out there in our area.
