Welcome to the Birth Alliance Of Central California!

Our collective of birth professionals includes Childbirth Educators, Lactation Consulants, Doulas, Midwives, Massage Therapists, and other Mother/Baby Service or Product Suppliers. The BACC serves San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Amador, Tuolumne and Calaveras counties.

Our Mission is to support mother/baby-friendly birth through informed consent options, evidence based care, and by offering education, support and resources to our communities.

In our communities, we provide education, resources, services and support to women and their families moving through their childbearing years. We also offer professional presentations geared toward educating and empowering women's choices in childbirth and work toward creating partnerships with other health organizations that serve the childbearing family. For our members, we have monthly meetings, quarterly newsletters, an online email group which we use to keep in touch between meeting dates, and are working on further developing this website and phone referral line. We support each other within the scope of our individual practices. We come together to seek advice, share and learn new information, practice new techniques and stay informed about what's happening in our individual communities.
